Across March, Red7Marine held three Safety Stand Down Days across the business, two with its Bridgwater project team and one in Ipswich for the wider team.

These sessions were fully interactive and delivered by Active Training Team Ltd, an award-winning organisation specialising in behavioural safety and safety leadership training. Their work spans the construction, transport, and energy sectors, supporting major infrastructure partners.

The day began with a marine-based scenario brought to life through on-screen content and live actors, encouraging active participation from everyone in the room. This immersive session led into a detailed incident debrief and shared lessons learned.

From late morning onwards, teams took part in bespoke workshop sessions built around Red7Marine’s own incident data, focusing on mechanisms, root causes, and emerging trends from 2025. These scenarios were again brought to life by the training team, with smaller group discussions designed to encourage open dialogue, reflection, and learning through hindsight.

A great opportunity to bring the team together, reflect, and challenge our thinking while stepping back to see the bigger picture. Thanks to Active Training Team for bringing it all to life.
