Red7Marine’s in-house piling team secured a contract working at Greenwich Phoenix Wharf carrying out a sheet piling project.

Red7Marine has a wide range of in-house skills and capabilities, from initial consultation through to project completion and Red7Marine’s experienced operations team are able to guide clients through this process seamlessly and with ease.

Red7Marine is installing a sheet pile retaining wall and mooring piles within Deptford Creek the as part of the Thames Tideway Tunnel project – a key contract Red7Marine has been involved with since 2011. These structures will form part of a new berth that will allow barges to be brought from the River Thames up Deptford Creek where they will be filled with spoil material from the tunnel construction. By removing the spoil material by river this will remove over 10,000 HGV movements from the streets of the capital.

The operations team carrying out the job is supervised by Pete Madgwick who recently joined Red7Marine to increase our in-house piling capabilities

Kristen Branford, Managing Director at Red7Marine comments: “It’s really exciting for one of Red7Marine’s piling teams to be working on another section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel and we are delighted to be involved on such a high profile project in the heart of the capital. As our in-house teams and capabilities continue to expand, we are now able to offer clients a complete turnkey packages from project planning through to completion.”
