  • Programme Duration: 7 months
  • Project Number: 2008
  • Value: £1.45m
  • Client: DONG Energy
  • Principal Contractor: M.T. Hojgaard

The Solution

R7M performed operations from various vessels however the hub of all operations was R7M’s flat top barge the Haven Seaforth which had a 50 tonne hydraulic crawler crane, various dive spreads, and a 75 tonne knuckle boom crane housed on deck.

The barge was utilised for a variety of tasks however Haven Seaforths primary role was the installation of J-Tube into the wind turbines foundations and seabed debris clearances.

The project is a good example of the diversity “one stop shop” approach that R7M has come to pride itself on with the entire operation occurring from internally within the company. This included all of the required plant to perform the tasks and all of the specialist expertise and experience to ensure that the project was completed in a safe efficient manner.
